Recoil Spectrometry covers a group of techniques that are very similar to the well known Rutherford backscattering Spectrometry technique, but with the important difference that one measures the recoiling target atom rather than the projectile ion. This makes it possible to determine both the identity of the recoil and its depth of origin from its energy and velocity, using a suitable detector system. The incident ion is typically high-energy (30–100MeV)35C1,81Br or127I. Low concentrations of light elements such as C, O and N can be profiled in a heavy matrix such as Fe or GaAs. The two diastereoisomeric ferrocenyl‐substituted orvinols 2 and 3 were prepared. The modified alkaloids are still able to interact with opioid receptors (see Table). The ferrocene moiety allows highly selective and sensitive electrochemical detection. The X‐ray crystal structure of the major isomer 2 was determined. Submillimeter laser-Stark spectra have been observed for the isotopic species of methyl fluoride,13CH3F, using the 337 m line of the HCN laser. We have identified the multiplet transitions as JK=18K17K in the ground vibrational state. Ten distinct families with K=8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 have been observed. We use a driving field, of the type first suggested by Evans, to generate a steady heat current in the simplest possible system, a two-dimensional periodic fluid of three hard disks. Hard-disk motion equations can be conveniently derived from repulsive constant-force or linear-force potentials by considering the infinitely repulsive limit of these potentials. We show that the isoenergetic and isokinetic forms of the nonequilibrium equations of motion generate steady-state heat conductivities differing by terms of order 1/N, whereN is the number of particles. The resulting conductivities appear to vary as the logarithm of the driving field strength. A submillimeter laser Stark spectrum has been observed for fully deuterated Methyl Chloride (CD3Cl) with the 337 m line of the HCN laser up to Stark fields of about 54000 V/cm. The spectra were taken for both Parallel and Perpendicular Polarizations and the multiplet transitions were identified as JK=42K41K in the ground vibrational state. This work is focused on developing a fast gas chromatograph, time-of-flight mass spectrometer (GC/TOFMS) for man-portable field use. The goal is to achieve a total system solution for meeting performance, size, weight, power, cost, and ruggedness requirements for a laboratory in the field. The core technology will also be adaptable to specific applications including real-time point detection for hazardous chemical releases (e.g., chemical weapons), for biological agent signature identification, and for mobile monitoring platforms (e.g., air, ship, truck). Previously we presented results of a feasibility demonstration for a 30-lb field-portable TOFMS system. In this work we present recent progress in integrating a low-power, high-speed GC and show the capability for accurately recording fast GC transients for targeted compound detection using a quadrupole ion trap, time-of-flight instrument (QitTof). 相似文献
